David Seuss

David Seuss, MBA, is a software industry entrepreneur and an engineer. During his long career, David launched several software companies, including growing a computer game company from concept to 280 employees.

Most recently, he founded and ran a company developing AI-based enterprise software applications. Having stepped down from running that company after selling a majority of it to an investment group, he is returning to his first true love, gaming.

A long-time committed gamer, David has played board games and computer games since high school. At one point in his gaming career, he was the main tank in a World of Warcraft Guild with 240 members, standing out in front of 40-person raids holding aggro on demon bosses. David owns almost 100 games on Steam, and has an entire room in his home, which his wife calls “The Wargame Room,” dedicated to storing his 200+ board games.

David has been active for decades in the effort to preserve the living artifacts of American history and is a “Color Bearer” of the American Battlefield Trust. The Trust protects historic sites such as Revolutionary and Civil War battlefields and witness houses, and has preserved over 60,000 acres of the priceless battlefields where America was formed. The Trust provides site visits and educational materials on American history to thousands of teachers and students every year.

Nothing matches the profound experience of standing on a Revolutionary War or Civil War battlefield and gazing across the very ground where history was made. If you can pause and silence the noise of modern life, a quiet reverence takes over, and if a gentle breeze is blowing just right, you can sometimes hear the distant, ghostly echo of the guns.
